Our Story.
Inspiration to start Art Room Events came when our CEO, Aly, decided to combine all the things she was passionate about: art, coffee, hospitality, and event management. In July of 2016, while acting as Managing Partner for a hip coffee shop and a speakeasy event space in one of the most vibrant Chicago neighborhoods, Wicker Park, she started Art Room Events with Coffee Painting & Tasting.
Since then, she has crafted her love of coffee while noting the community's growing interest in coffee culture. Coupling this interest with everyone's love of BYOB art classes became her next big adventure: an artistic tasting experience on a brand new level.
In late 2016, with her co-founding partner, now CEO of Get It Made, the Dil Pickle Club Speakeasy, Murder Mystery was introduced. Dil Pickle is a cocktail party formatted as an interactive theater experience. Its characters are based on the Chicago club's historical figures between 1917 and 1935.
Today, to bring our events to life, Art Room Events partners with venues, brands, and individuals who share our mission and values so we can grow together and complement the concept of each experience. We support local businesses, artists, art studios, theaters, and creative communities, so please don't hesitate to reach out to us with your partnership ideas and collaboration proposals.

Aly was a pleasure to work with, all the ladies enjoyed the event space and model! We wanted something different and exciting for my sister’s bachelorette party and we got just that.
