SPEAKEASY CHICAGO STYLE: THE GALWAY ARMS

Our interactive murder mystery parties are frequently hosted at our Chicago venue-partner, The Galway Arms. We are thrilled to introduce you to this beautiful hidden gem. Located in the basement of Lincoln Park's historic landmark, The Brewster, this mansion was designed in 1893 and was home to Charlie Chaplin for a time. This Irish bar and restaurant give genuine speakeasy vibes and a sense of excitement.

The Galway Arms: soul of ireland, heart of chicago

HISTORY

Originally constructed as a boarding house, this piece of property has seen an array of businesses come and go. In 2002, an Irish medical lawyer from Galway, Ireland, purchased the buildings. The beauty of this bar is in the architecture. Each of its rooms' historical interiors resembles old 19th-century designs and creates the perfect atmosphere for our original Dil Pickle Club Speakeasy Murder Mystery.

This gorgeous vintage space offers multiple open, private, and semi-private rooms along with 2 bars to host your special occasion.
