Summer is here and so is the patio and rooftop season. However, dining “out” will have a literal meaning this year, as in order to dine out in Chicago you’ll have to pick a venue with patio, rooftop, or seating availability by the open windows, as currently those are the only ones permitted by the City of Chicago for public dining. Here are some additional hospitality industry rules and covid19 precautions to keep in mind when planning your dining experience this summer:
! IMPORTANT
Make reservation in advance, as seating options are limited
6-8 people are permitted per table (if you have a larger party reserve couple tables next to each other)
You might have to make your reservation in-person
Bring masks, as they are required to use restrooms and common areas
Be on time! Reservations are limited to 1,5- 2 hour experience
